Michaela McManus Is on the Hunt For a Twisted Killer In a New ‘Redux Redux’ Image [Exclusive]
What kind of lengths might you go to in order to ensure vengeance was delivered on behalf of someone you love? In Saban Films’ upcoming sci-fi thriller, Redux Redux, that question — and the heaps of morally blurred lines that come with it — lies at the center of the story. Today, as part of Collider’s Exclusive Preview event, where we’re delivering first looks and more from the hottest upcoming titles slated for arrival this winter, we’re thrilled to debut a fresh image from the Kevin and Matthew McManus-helmed film. We can also exclusively reveal that audiences can expect to see the pulse-pounding and action-packed picture in cinemas on February 20, 2026.
Our sneak peek at Redux Redux forces some direct eye contact with Michaela McManus’ (One Tree Hill), Irene, who’s on the hunt for her daughter’s killer. The backdrop reveals that Irene and her companion (Stella Marcus) are somewhere in the middle of the desert, while lying in front of them is a long drain pipe leading to an unseen place, undoubtedly dripping with intrigue.
With one goal in mind, Irene (McManus) will do just about anything to ensure she gets her hands on her daughter’s murderer in Redux Redux, and that includes jumping from one parallel universe to another. Although the justice system might have failed her in her home reality, the grieving mother knows she can take matters into her own hands as she shifts around onto different timelines with vengeance as her guide. However, as she continues her bloodthirsty quest, the lines of morality begin to blur, and Irene soon finds herself lost in the brutal thrill of it all.
Who Is Behind ‘Redux Redux’?
In addition to McManus and Marcus, the genre-bending film also features the talents of Jeremy Holm (House of Cards) and Jim Cummings (The Beta Test). The project is the latest from the McManus brothers, who previously brought audiences the 2021 sci-fi horror thriller, The Block Island Sound, as well as the 2012 coming-of-age film, Funeral Kings. On the small screen, the siblings have paired up to deliver high kicks and even higher drama on Netflix’s Cobra Kai, and both landed Emmy nominations for their writing vision behind American Vandal. In addition to helming Redux Redux, both Kevin and Matthew McManus also produce alongside Michael McGarry, Nate Cormier, and PJ McCabe.
You can join the hunt for a twisted killer thanks to the new image of Redux Redux above, and see it in cinemas on February 20. Stay tuned to Collider for more to come from our Exclusive Preview event.
